Hole 1: The Copse- 379 yards par 4 (SI 7) A dog-leg left requiring a good drive down the right, to give a view of the green which is protected on the left by a copse of mature trees. |
Hole 2: Old Forge- 354 yards par 4 (SI 13) Avoid trees and out of bounds to the right and you should be left with a short iron to a small elevated green. |
Hole 3: Viewfort- 168 yards par 3 (SI 15) A straightforward but deceptive par 3, well guarded by bunkers. |
Hole 4: Trossachs- 529 yards par 5 (SI 9) An outstanding par 5 requiring two good shots to allow a view of the elevated double-tiered green |
Hole 5: Colinmore- 366 yards (SI 11) A short par 4 with danger from trees on both sides of the fairway. |
Hole 6: Rathmore- 426 yards par 4 (SI 1) A long par 4 where players face a demanding second shot to reach a well protected green. |
| Hole 7: Badger's Hill- 161 yards par 3 (SI 13) A straightforward tee-shot from an elevated tee to a well bunkered green |
. Hole 8: The Lake- 400 yards par 4 (SI 3) A well struck tee-shot will clear the lake leaving a difficult second to a shallow elevated green |
Hole 9: Fortfield- 418 yards par 4 (SI 5) An accurate drive is required to avoid the drain and lake leaving a challenging second to the narrow green |
Hole 10: Elms Gap- 354 yards par 4 (SI 10) Avoiding the trees on either side of the landing zone is the key to making par at this short but tricky par 4 |
Hole 11: Course View- 389 yards par 4 (SI 4) Trees mean danger left and right for the tee shot which must also avoid fairway bunkers to set up an approach to large green featuring some subtle borrows |
Hole 12: The Lane- 168 yards par 3 (SI 12) Correct clubbing is essential to avoid a dangerous downhill putt on this steeply sloping par 3 green |
Hole 13: Fairy Thorn- 522 yards par 5 (SI 13) This excellent par 5 requires a well struck drive just left of the fairy thorn tree. An accurate second shot will avoid mature trees and leave an easy approach to the green |
Hole 14: Road Hole- 281 yards par 4 (SI 14) A good birdie opportunity for most players, but failure to avoid the fairway bunkers and greenside traps can easily result in bogey or worse. |
Hole 15: Coach House- 365 yards par 4 (SI 2) The most challenging drive on the course. “Men of Iron” hit a high fade around the sharp dog-leg, those with a nervous disposition may prefer to “poke out” a medium iron for safety. |
Hole 16: Oak View- 180 yards par 3 (SI 16) Hit a draw into this par 3 to avoid a deflection off the steep bank on the left |
Hole 17: The Hill- 326 yards par 4 (SI 18) Avoid trees and fairway bunkers on the right and you should have a straightforward shot into a well-bunkered green |
Hole 18: The Limes- 370 yards par 4 (SI 6) A demanding finish. Mature trees on the left, and a fairway bunker on the right, guard the landing area on this hole which favours a well-struck and drawing tee-shot down the right side of the fairway |
